The recent Renewable Capacity Statistics 2022 report by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) has revealed that the renewable generation capacity increased by 9.1% to 257 GW in 2021 compared to last year, taking the cumulative global renewable generation capacity to 3 TW (3,064 GW).
