India’s rated power distribution companies (DISCOMs) reported a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of ₹27.01 billion (~$294.7 million) in the financial year (FY) 2025, marking a sharp turnaround from a loss of ₹270.22 billion (~$2.95 billion) recorded in FY 2024, according to the Ministry of Power’s 14th Annual Integrated Rating and Ranking Report.
