NHPC, SJVN Green Energy, and NTPC Renewable Energy won Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam’s auction to supply power from 600 MW of grid-connected solar power projects (Phase XVII) at the Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat. The developers can avail of a greenshoe option of an additional 600 MW. NHPC won 200 MW by quoting ₹2.73 (~0.033)/kWh. SJVN Green Energy won 200 MW at ₹2.88 (~$0.035))/kWh. NTPC Renewable Energy won 200 MW out of the quoted capacity of 400 MW under the bucket-filling method by quoting ₹2.89 (~$0.035)/kWh.
