The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has amended the Phased Manufacturing Program (PMP) requirements for electric buses and electric trucks under the PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement Scheme (PM E-DRIVE), mandating domestic manufacturing of key electric vehicle (EV) components.
