The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has launched the application portal for the ‘Scheme to Promote Manufacturing of Electric Passenger Cars in India (SPMEPCI),’ inviting global and domestic manufacturers to establish electric vehicle (EV) production facilities in the country.
