Egypt has announced plans to add 2,500 MW of renewable energy capacity to the country’s electricity grid before next summer. The country also discussed comprehensive action plans to secure fuel supplies and ensure grid stability, emphasizing the integration of these new renewable sources as a key focus. However, Egypt intends to maintain a strategic petroleum products reserve and allocate funding for energy sector projects.
