Turkey has commenced discussions with Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power to develop 5 GW solar projects. The first phase will add 2 GW of capacity and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. This phase includes two 1 GW projects, one in Sivas and the other in Taşeli.
