The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has introduced an additional provision under the ‘Give It UP’ option, allowing consumers to forgo Central Financial Assistance (CFA) without a Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) certificate under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
