According to the latest report from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) on the solar market’s key trends in the United States,  more than 4.5 GW (AC) of utility-scale solar power installations achieved commercial operation, taking the total cumulative installed capacity to 29 GW (AC) in 2019. The projects were spread across ten regions and concentrated mostly in the country’s western and southeastern parts.
