Sikkim has become the 21^st Indian state to join the Ujwal DISCOM (distribution company) Assurance Yojana program. Sikkim is to derive net benefits valued at ~Rs.2.07 billion ($0.03101 billion) through the UDAY program by cheaper funding, reductions in Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) and transmission losses, and through increased energy efficiency.
