					</table><p><a href="https://www.bondada.net/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bondada Engineering</a>, a Hyderabad-based engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, commissioned 120.46 MW of solar projects in December 2025 for Paradigm IT, Maharashtra State Power Generation Company, and NLC India.</p>
<p>The projects are located in the Dhule, Amravati, Hingoli, Pathardi, Shevgaon, Kannad, and Dharni districts of Maharashtra, as well as in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu.</p>
<p>The company is also an independent power producer (IPP) having a presence in wind, hybrid, and storage projects, including solar with battery energy storage systems (BESS) and standalone BESS systems. The company also offers operation and maintenance services.</p>
<p>The company was one among three winners in Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation’s auction to set up 500 MW/1,000 MWh standalone BESS projects in six locations in Tamil Nadu on a build-own-operate basis. Bondada Engineering <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/nlc-bondada-oriana-win-tngecls-500-mw-1000-mwh-bess-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> 200 MW/400 MWh at a tariff of ₹246,000 (~$2,856.81)/MW/month to set up one BESS project each at Vellalaviduthi and Thennampatty substations. Under the viability gap funding (VGF) support from the Ministry of Power, the projects will receive VGF of 30% of the capital cost for the BESS or ₹2.7 million (~$31,101)/MWh, whichever is lower. This funding will be disbursed in five tranches.</p>
<p>In November 2025, the company <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-pgcil-among-winners-of-aptranscos-2-gwh-standalone-bess-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> a 225 MW/450 MWh standalone BESS project in Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh’s (APTRANSCO) auction to develop 1,000 MW/2,000 MWh standalone BESS projects in the state at a tariff of ₹164,000 (~$1,833)/MW/month.</p>
<p>Recently, the company was among the few to <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/vikran-sterling-wilson-bondada-kintech-bag-ntpc-rels-1-4-gw-solar-bos-orders" target="_blank" rel="noopener">win</a> orders from NTPC Renewable Energy for balance-of-system (BoS) works for 1.4 GW of grid-connected solar power projects in Chitrakoot (2 x 400 MW) and Lalitpur (2 x 300 MW) in Uttar Pradesh.  Bondada won the order for 300 MW of solar projects in Lalitpur-1, valued at ₹3.91 billion (~$43.52 million).</p>
<p>Earlier, Bondada Engineering had <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-secures-bos-works-order-for-810-mw-solar-project-from-nlc-india" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> an EPC order from NLC India Renewables for BoS works for setting up 810 MW solar projects at the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam’s solar park in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The order consisted of separate BoS works for 400 MW and 410 MW. The contract’s estimated cost is ₹9.45 billion (~$105.47 million).</p>
<p>Also, last year, the company <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-secures-bos-equipment-order-from-adani-for-650-mw-solar-project" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> a letter of intent from the Adani Group to supply BoS equipment for a 650 MW solar project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat.</p>

					</table><p>India <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/major-events-that-impacted-the-indian-solar-sector-in-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">added</a> 26.6 GW of solar capacity in the first nine months of the calendar year 2025, an increase of 53.7% year-over-year from 17.3 GW, according to the Q3 2025 India Solar Market Update Report by Mercom India Research. Large-scale solar accounted for 81.5% of the capacity commissioned in 9M 2025, while rooftop solar contributed 18.5%.</p>
<p>Energy storage in India was long <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/lowest-energy-storage-auction-tariffs-in-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">viewed</a> as a niche and costly solution, with limited deployment until around 2018. High costs, immature technologies, and regulatory uncertainty constrained adoption during the early years. Since then, growing government focus, stronger policy support, and the rapid scale-up of renewable energy targets have brought energy storage into sharp focus.</p>
<p>The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/mnre-urges-states-to-adopt-m2m-sim-based-monitoring-rooftop-solar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">asked</a> all state and electricity regulatory commissions to adopt machine-to-machine SIM–based remote monitoring systems for recording rooftop solar generation, potentially eliminating the need for separate solar generation meters. MNRE cited the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission’s recent amendment to its net metering framework as a model that other states should replicate.</p>
<p>The Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/karnataka-clarifies-ppa-rules-for-demand-changes-in-solar-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">clarified</a> that consumers who have rooftop or distributed solar photovoltaic systems need not sign new power purchase agreements (PPAs) if they reduce or increase their contracted demand or approved load. Their existing PPA tariffs and terms will remain in effect.</p>
<p>The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/derc-proposes-changes-to-group-and-virtual-net-metering-rules" target="_blank" rel="noopener">proposed</a> amendments to the DERC (Group Net Metering and Virtual Net Metering for Renewable Energy) Guidelines, 2019, expanding the applicability of virtual net metering to all consumers. Stakeholders can submit their objections/suggestions by December 24, 2025. The draft guidelines extend the applicability of VNM to all consumers in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, including single-point-of-supply consumers.</p>
<p>Kerala State Electricity Board <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/kerala-invites-eoi-for-setting-up-electric-vehicle-charging-stations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">invited</a> expressions of interest from charge point operators for setting up electric vehicle public charging stations (EVPCS) under Category C of the PM E-DRIVE program. Bids must be submitted by January 5, 2026. Charge point operators interested in setting up EVPCS at Category C locations, such as city streets, shopping malls, market complexes, highways, and expressways with public access, can submit bids.</p>
<p>Energy equipment manufacturer GE Vernova’s electrification systems business <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/ge-vernova-wins-hvdc-contract-for-adanis-2-5-gw-renewable-energy-corridor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> a contract from Adani Energy Solutions to supply high-voltage direct current (HVDC) technology for the 2.5 GW Khavda–South Olpad renewable energy transmission corridor in Gujarat. GE Vernova will provide advanced HVDC technology designed to operate at scale and with high reliability. This will include supplying a high-capacity ±500 kV, 2,500 MW (2 × 1,250 MW) voltage-sourced converter-based bipolar HVDC system for the point-to-point link.</p>
<p>GRE Renew Enertech <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/gre-renew-enertech-wins-secis-1-mw-rooftop-solar-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> the Solar Energy Corporation of India’s auction to set up 1 MW rooftop solar systems at the Rashtrapati Bhavan under Tranche III of RTSPV under the renewable energy service company model. GRE Renew Enertech quoted a tariff of ₹2.7 (~$0.03)/kWh to win the entire tendered capacity. The systems will be set up in five buildings in Rashtrapati Bhavan.</p>
<p>Langfang Sol-Bright New Energy <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/sol-bright-signs-deal-with-rays-power-for-solar-module-cleaning-robots" target="_blank" rel="noopener">signed</a> a contract with Rays Power Infra to supply water-free robotic cleaning systems for NTPC’s 250 MW solar project in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. Last January, NTPC Renewable Energy invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction of 500 MW (2×250 MW) grid-connected solar power projects, in which Rays Power Infra emerged as the successful bidder for a 250 MW capacity.</p>
<p>Luxembourg-based steel and mining company ArcelorMittal <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/arcelormittal-to-set-up-1-gw-of-solar-and-wind-projects-in-india" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> it will set up three renewable energy projects in India totaling 1 GW of solar and wind capacity. The three projects are expected to cost $900 million. Two of the projects will have a cumulative 800 MWh of battery energy storage capacity. All three projects are planned for implementation in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.</p>

<p>United Kingdom-based solar module manufacturer, Awendio Solaris, <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/awendio-to-set-up-solar-cell-module-manufacturing-plant-in-quebec" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> plans to build a multi-gigawatt TOPCon solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Canada’s Montréal-Est, Québec, with an investment of CAD1 billion (~$727.65 million). The company targets achieving 2,500 MW of annual production in the facility’s first phase. It aims to scale this capacity up to 5,000 MW in the future.</p>
<p>Denmark-based A.P. Moller Capital, an institutional fund manager, <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/a-p-moller-enters-indias-renewables-sector-with-rays-power-joint-venture" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> its first renewable energy investment in India through the A.P. Moller Capital – Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund II. The investment is being made through a newly established joint venture with Rays Power Infra, a solar engineering, procurement, and construction company.</p>
<p>France <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/frances-solar-installations-reach-30-gw-as-of-9m-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">installed</a> 29.7 GW of solar capacity from over 1.3 million installations as of September 30, 2025, according to the country’s Statistical Data and Studies Department. This was a 10.5% year-over-year growth compared to 26.8 GW from nearly 1.2 million installations. Approximately one-third of the newly-connected capacity in 2025 comprised solar installations larger than 500 kW.</p>

<p>The order consists of separate BoS works for 400 MW and 410 MW. The contract’s estimated cost is ₹9.45 billion (~$105.47 million).</p>
<p>In October this year, NLC India <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/nlc-wins-auction-to-develop-810-mw-solar-project-in-rajasthan" target="_blank" rel="noopener">won</a> the bid to develop an 810 MW solar project from RVUNL. NLC quoted a tariff of ₹2.64 (~$0.03)/kWh to win the auction.</p>
<p>The project is part of RRVUNL’s 2 GW Ultra Mega Solar Park in the Pugal Tehsil of Bikaner District, Rajasthan.</p>
<p>Bondada Engineering’s scope of work entails the design, engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of the BoS works. It also involves providing operation and maintenance services for three years.</p>
<p>The company will also undertake the project site development, manufacturing, and inspection at the supplier’s works. Additionally, it will provide insurance for the solar projects and an evacuation system up to the 33 kV side of the 33/400 kV park pooling substation.</p>
<p>Bondada Engineering will execute the order within 15 months.</p>
<p>With the latest order, the company has EPC orders with a total capacity of 3 GW.</p>
<p>In October, Bondada Engineering<a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-secures-order-2-gw-solar-project-andhra" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> secured</a> a contract to develop a 2 GW solar project in Andhra Pradesh under the state’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy.</p>
<p>The company also <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-secures-bos-equipment-order-from-adani-for-650-mw-solar-project" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> a letter of intent from the Adani Group to supply BoS equipment for a 650 MW solar project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat. 					</table><p><a href="https://www.pacedigitek.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pace Digitek</a> and <a href="https://bondada.net/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bondada Engineering</a> have won the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company’s (<a href="https://www.mahagenco.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MAHAGENCO</a>) engineering, procurement, and construction auction for 300 MW solar projects, securing 200 MW and 100 MW, respectively.</p>
<p>The tender was floated on October 11, 2024.</p>
<p>The contract value for Pace Digitek is ₹9.3 billion (~$105 million) and for Bondada Engineering ₹4.65 billion (~$52.46 million).</p>
<p>The winning bidders must design, engineer, manufacture, demonstrate performance, and commission the solar projects. They must also provide operation and maintenance services for three years.</p>
<p>Each project must be at a single location with a minimum capacity of 50 MW.</p>
<p>The selected bidders must identify and arrange the project land and provide a power evacuation system for the projects up to the state transmission utility’s substation on a turnkey basis. They must also conduct the associated civil and electrical works and obtain the necessary licenses and permits.</p>
<p>Pace Digitek and Bondada Engineering must only use mono-crystalline solar cell modules compliant with the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.</p>
<p>They must complete the projects within 450 days from the date of accepting the letters of award.</p>
<p>In October this year, the joint venture between MAHAGENCO and SJVN <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/mahagenco-sjvn-jv-targets-735-mw-of-clean-energy-projects-in-first-phase" target="_blank" rel="noopener">targeted</a> developing 735 MW of renewable energy projects in the first phase of a 5 GW clean energy push in Maharashtra.</p>
<p>In the same month, Pace Digitek <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/pace-digitek-bags-order-to-supply-1-2-gwh-bess-from-seci" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> an order from Solar Energy Corporation of India to supply a 600 MW/1,200 MWh standalone grid-connected battery energy storage system in Andhra Pradesh.</p>
<p>Also in October, Bondada Engineering <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-secures-order-2-gw-solar-project-andhra" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> a contract to develop a 2 GW solar project in Andhra Pradesh under the state’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy. It also <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-secures-bos-equipment-order-from-adani-for-650-mw-solar-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> a letter of intent from the Adani Group to supply the balance of system equipment for a 650 MW solar project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat.</p>


Pace Digitek, Bondada Win MAHAGENCO’s 300 MW Solar EPC Auction

					</table><p>India <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/indias-wind-energy-installations-up-105-yoy-in-q3-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">added</a> 1.4 GW of wind energy capacity in the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, a 105% year-over-year (YoY) increase from 706.5 MW in Q3 2024, according to Mercom India Research. Capacity additions, however, fell 11% compared to Q2 2025. Quarter-over-quarter installations declined after the expiry of the waiver on interstate transmission system charges. Delays in grid connectivity, limited transmission capacity, and land acquisition challenges also contributed to the slowdown in project execution. The wind energy sector continued to face supply chain disruptions at both domestic and global levels.</p>
<p>The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/mperc-drops-rpo-default-cases-after-power-ministrys-notification" target="_blank" rel="noopener">withdrawn</a> 65 suo motu petitions initiated against various obligated entities for non-compliance with renewable purchase obligation (RPO) targets. This move follows a notification issued by the Ministry of Power introducing the renewable consumption obligation framework that replaces state-level RPO mechanisms across India. Previously, MPERC had taken suo motu cognizance of several obligated entities ranging from distribution companies to open access consumers for failure to meet their RPO obligations under the existing Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Renewable Purchase Obligation and Compliance) Regulations.</p>
<p>The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/uttar-pradesh-new-framework-captive-renewable-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">notified</a> the Captive and Renewable Energy Generating Plants Regulations, 2024, setting a comprehensive framework for renewable and captive generation in the state from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2029. The regulations apply to renewable and captive renewable energy projects, including cogeneration-based systems. The draft regulations were issued in May this year. Solar projects may sell power through open access either to captive users or to third parties. Such sales will be subject to the UPERC Open Access Regulations, 2019, and the technical and commercial conditions prescribed therein.</p>
<p>Engineering, procurement, and construction company Bondada Engineering <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-secures-order-2-gw-solar-project-andhra" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> a contract to develop a 2 GW solar project in Andhra Pradesh under the state’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy. The independent power producer mode project will be set up at an estimated cost of ₹90 billion (~$1.01 billion) across 9,000 acres in the Sri Sathya Sai and Ananthapuramu districts of Andhra Pradesh. The project is expected to be commissioned within 24 months. To execute the project, the company has incorporated a new special purpose vehicle, Greenbond RE Park, with Bondada Engineering owning a 51% stake. The company also noted that the 9,000 acres have already been mapped and that pooling has commenced.</p>
<p>Solar module manufacturer Waaree Energies <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/waaree-secures-orders-for-692-mw-of-solar-modules-in-india-and-us" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> separate orders to supply 220 MW, 210 MW, and 140 MW of solar modules from undisclosed customers engaged in owning, developing, and operating renewable power projects in India. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, also received orders to supply 122 MW modules from a developer and owner-operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the U.S. Waaree said these orders will be completed by the financial years (FY) 2026 and FY 2027. The company’s manufacturing capacity comprises 18.7 GW of solar modules and 5.4 GW of solar cells. It has an order book of approximately 24 GW, worth approximately ₹470 billion (~$5.35 billion).</p>
<p>Solar module manufacturing and engineering, procurement, and construction company Pahal Solar will <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/pahal-to-set-up-2-gw-solar-cell-and-aluminum-frame-facilities-in-gujarat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">set</a> up a 2 GW solar cell and a 2 GW aluminum frame manufacturing facility in Surat, Gujarat. The company stated that the facilities’ AI-based precision and analytics systems will enhance manufacturing efficiency, consistency, and product quality. Both facilities are expected to be commissioned by late 2026. Pahal Solar has a solar module manufacturing capacity of 2.4 GW and a ribbon and busbar production capacity of 2 GW.</p>
<p>Spain’s total installed solar capacity <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/spains-cumulative-installed-solar-capacity-crossed-40-gw-in-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reached</a> 40,294 MW at the end of 2024, according to the Spanish Solar Photovoltaic Association’s (UNEF) annual report. In 2024, Spain added 7.2 GW of new solar capacity, making it the second-largest solar market in Europe, after Germany. The solar capacity additions largely comprised captive and ground-mounted projects. According to the report, globally, the European Union held the second-largest solar installations in 2024 after China, supported by established markets such as Germany, Italy, and France. However, Spain only added 6,039 MW of ground-mounted solar projects in 2024, a 1.47% drop from 2023. New captive solar project additions also declined by 31% in 2024, with 1,182 MW installed during the year.</p>
<p>Romania’s Ministry of Energy <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/romania-launches-third-cfd-auction-for-290-mw-of-onshore-wind-projects" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launched</a> the third contracts for difference (CfD) auction for 290 MW of onshore wind energy projects. Bids must be submitted by November 14, 2025. The successful bidders will be announced on December 3. The maximum strike price for the auction has been set at €80 (~$93.13) per MWh. Successful bidders or special purpose vehicles set up by them must provide a performance bond of €75,000 (~$87,307.50)/MW. The projects must be commissioned within 36 months from the signing of the CfD contract. The third CfD auction, which will grant operating aid for new onshore wind energy projects, is part of Romania’s broader effort to accelerate renewable energy deployment and ensure price stability for clean power producers.</p>
<p>China-based photovoltaic-grade polysilicon manufacturer Daqo New Energy Corporation <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/rise-in-polysilicon-prices-drives-daqos-revenue-up-23-in-q3-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted</a> a revenue of $244.6 million in Q3 of 2025, up 23% YoY from $198.5 million. It beat analysts’ revenue expectations by $67.82 million. The increase in revenue has been attributed to a rise in sales volume and average selling price (ASP). Its net loss declined 75.4% to $14.9 million in Q3 2025, from $60.7 million in the same quarter last year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) were $45.8 million, from an EBITDA loss of $34.3 million in the same quarter of the previous year.</p>

					</table><p>Engineering, procurement, and construction company <a href="https://bondada.net/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bondada Engineering</a> has secured a contract to develop a 2 GW solar project in Andhra Pradesh under the state’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy.</p>
<p>The independent power producer mode project will be set up at an estimated cost of ₹90 billion (~$1.01 billion) across 9,000 acres in the Sri Sathya Sai and Ananthapuramu districts of Andhra Pradesh.</p>
<p>The project is expected to be commissioned within 24 months.</p>
<p>To execute the project, the company has incorporated a new special purpose vehicle, Greenbond RE Park, with Bondada Engineering owning a 51% stake. The company also noted that the 9,000 acres have already been mapped and that pooling has commenced.</p>
<p>The company had submitted a detailed proposal to establish the solar power project, which the State Investment Promotion Board approved in May 2025.</p>
<p>The Andhra Pradesh government <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/andhra-pradesh-clean-energy-policy-targets/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">aims</a> to add over 160 GW of renewable energy capacity and attract investments worth approximately ₹10 trillion (~$118.95 billion) under the Integrated Clean Energy Policy. The target includes 78.5 GW of solar, 35 GW of wind, and 25 GW of battery energy storage systems, along with other technologies.</p>
<p>The capacity additions under the policy have been planned for Andhra Pradesh DISCOMs’ procurement, export of power to other states, and also to meet commercial and industrial consumption under the open access route.</p>
<p>Recently, Bondada Engineering <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-secures-bos-equipment-order-from-adani-for-650-mw-solar-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">received</a> a letter of intent from the Adani Group to supply the balance of system equipment for a 650 MW solar project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat. The contract’s estimated cost is ₹10.5 billion (~$119.5 million).</p>
<p>In June this year, Bondada was among the <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/nlc-bondada-oriana-win-tngecls-500-mw-1000-mwh-bess-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">winners</a> of Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation’s auction to set up 500 MW/1,000 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in six locations in Tamil Nadu on a build-own-operate basis. It won a capacity of 200 MW/400 MWh at a tariff of ₹246,000 (~$2,856.81)/MW/month.</p>
<p>In March, Bondada was one of the <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-oriana-and-pace-win-telanganas-250-mw-500-mwh-bess-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">winners</a> of Telangana Power Generation Corporation’s auction to set up 250 MW/500 MWh standalone BESS in the state, winning 50 MW/100 MWh each at a tariff of ₹240,347 (~$ 2,804.84)/MW/month.</p>
<p>Last December, Bondada <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/bondada-engineering-solar-streetlights-project-in-bihar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">secured</a> a work order worth ₹1.08 billion (~$12.8 million) from the Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency for a large-scale solar streetlight initiative. The project entailed designing, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning smart solar streetlight systems on existing electric poles across rural Bihar.</p>

<p>The scope of work for Bondada entails the design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality assurance, and delivery of materials. It also involves providing on-site services, testing, and commissioning of free-issue materials.</p>
<p>Additionally, Bondada will be conducting the civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural works required for the project’s commissioning.</p>
<p>The company must complete the project within one year.</p>
<p>Bondada Engineering operates in the telecom, renewable energy, railways, and data center sectors. According to its financial report for the first quarter of the financial year 2026, the company has earned a cumulative revenue of ₹45.63 billion (~$519.15 million) since its inception in 2012.</p>
<p>The company is implementing a 2 GW independent power producer solar project in Andhra Pradesh, valued at ₹90 billion (~$1.02 billion).</p>

Bondada Secures BoS Equipment Order from Adani for 650 MW Solar Project

					</table><p><a href="https://bondada.net/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bondada Engineering</a>, an infrastructure engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, has won the EPC contract from Singareni Collieries Company (<a href="https://scclmines.com/scclnew/index.asp" target="_blank" rel="noopener">SCCL</a>) for a 67.5 MW solar power project in the Mandamarri area in Telangana.</p>
<p>The scope of the contract includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the project, along with setting up the 220 kV transmission system. Bondada will also be responsible for the project’s operation and maintenance for ten years.</p>
<p>The company quoted a gross order value of ₹4.34 billion (~$52.20 million) to win the contract and was recently granted the letter of intent.</p>
<p>SCCL, a coal mining company owned by the Government of Telangana and the Government of India, had <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/singareni-collieries-invites-solar-projects-in-telangana" target="_blank" rel="noopener">floated</a> the tender for the three projects in September 2023 for 67.5 MW, 134.5 MW, and 30 MW.</p>
<p>The 134.5 MW project would be spread across four SCCL sites: the Kothagudem area (32.5 MW), the Sri Rampur area (27.5 MW), the STPP area (37.5 MW), and the Ramgundam-3 Area (37 MW, comprising 20 MW ground-based and 17 MW OB dump-based).</p>
<p>The 30 MW project would be distributed across three SCCL sites: the Yellandu area (15 MW), the Bhupalapalli area (10 MW), and the Ramgundam-1 area (5 MW).</p>
<p>Solar cells and modules for the projects must be obtained exclusively from manufacturers listed in List-I (solar photovoltaic modules) of the most recent Approved List of Models and Modules order issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.</p>
<p>The Ministry of Coal, under its net-zero electricity consumption plan for coal/lignite public sector undertakings, has <a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/indian-coal-sector-targets-9-gw-renewable-2030">set</a> a renewable energy target of 9 GW in the coal sector by 2030 from the present 1.75 GW.</p>
<p>According to the Ministry, the total solar capacity installed by leading coal companies like Coal India, NLC India, and SCCL is 1,700 MW, and the wind capacity is 51 MW.</p>
