<p><strong>Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust, the diversified renewables infrastructure company, announced the signing of agreements to </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/octopus-renewables-to-sell-stakes-in-solar-and-wind-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>sell</strong></a> a 49% stake in its full ownership of the 67 MW Breach solar project in Cambridgeshire, and to dispose of a 51% stake in the 46 MW Crossdykes onshore wind project in Scotland. Tokyo Century Corporation is acquiring the 49% stake in Breach and the 49% stake in Crossdykes. The remaining 2% in Crossdykes is being sold to the Octopus Energy Generation-managed Octopus Renewables Infrastructure SCSp fund, at the same valuation, which already owns 49% of the project.</p>
<p><strong>Technique Solaire Group, a France-based independent renewable energy power, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/technique-solaire-secures-47-million-debt-financing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>closed</strong></a><strong> a €40 million ($47.12 million) junior debt financing with BNP Paribas Asset Management</strong> to support the growth of the company’s solar projects located in France and internationally. The financing will facilitate the continuation of construction for two project portfolios comprising 626 solar projects totaling 392 MWp capacity. This includes rooftop solar projects in France, ground-mounted projects in Spain and the Netherlands, and the Drakenrijk floating project in the Netherlands.</p>
<p><strong>METLEN Energy &amp; Metals (previously known as MYTILINEOS), a Greek industrial conglomerate, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/metlen-sells-solar-projects-with-co-located-bess-in-chile/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>announced</strong></a><strong> the completion of the sale of its portfolio</strong> of four operational solar projects in Chile totaling 588 MW supported by co-located battery energy storage systems with a capacity of 1,610 MWh. The transaction with GAC RS Chile II, a subsidiary of Glenfarne, signed in April 2025, is a part of METLEN’s global Asset Rotation Plan. With the fulfilment of certain conditions, the deal amounts to a total consideration of $865 million.</p>
<p><strong>BOOM Power, a developer of solar and battery storage projects, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/boom-power-sells-solar-projects-to-downing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>completed</strong></a><strong> the sale of the 22 MW New Hall solar project and its remaining minority stake in the Low Farm solar project</strong> in the U.K. to Downing, an investment manager. The New Hall solar is a consented project developed by BOOM Power from early-stage site identification through to planning consent. PKF acted as financial and corporate advisors to BOOM Power on both projects. The transactions for both projects were completed on 22 December 2025.</p>

<p><strong>BOOM Power, a solar and battery storage project developer, has </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/boom-power-sells-100-mw-of-two-solar-projects/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>completed</strong></a><strong> the sale of two solar projects totaling 110 MW in the U.K. to Enray Power</strong>, a solar and storage project developer. The sale includes Firsfield Solar, with an installed capacity of 71 MWp and an export capacity of up to 46.9 MWp, located in West Suffolk, and Osgodby Solar, with a capacity of 42.9 MWp, situated in North Yorkshire.</p>
<p><strong>Headwater Energy, a utility-scale solar and energy storage development firm, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/headwater-energy-secures-144-million-financing-for-solar-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>secured</strong></a><strong> $144 million construction financing for its 112.5 MWdc Gum Swamp solar project</strong> in North Carolina, arranged by BridgePeak Energy Capital and funded in part by Pathward. The loan originated under Pathward’s energy lending program and a lender syndicate, with BridgePeak serving as the lender service provider.</p>
<p><strong>Decarbonization solutions company ReNew Energy Global (ReNew) has </strong><a href="https://www.mercomindia.com/renew-secures-331-million-from-adb-for-hybrid-renewable-energy-project" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>secured</strong></a><strong> $331 million in debt funding from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support the development of a large-scale clean energy project</strong> in Andhra Pradesh. ReNew said the Andhra Pradesh clean energy project integrates 837 MW of wind and solar capacity with a 415 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). It aims to deliver 300 MW of peak power as well as a dependable baseload supply.</p>
<p><strong>Akaysha Energy, an energy storage project developer, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/akaysha-energy-closes-299-million-1-2-gwh-battery-storage-project/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>secured</strong></a><strong> A$460 million (~$299 million) in project financing to fund construction of its Elaine battery energy storage system</strong> (BESS) in Victoria, Australia. With the closing of the financing, construction on the storage project has begun. A group of eight international and domestic banks, including BNP Paribas, CIBC, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, ING, Mizuho, MUFG, SMBC, and Société Générale, provided the funding.</p>
<p><strong>N-Sun Energy, a solar development platform created by Alantra Solar, </strong><a href="https://mercomcapital.com/n-sun-energy-secures-408m-financing-275-mw-solar-portfolio/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>signed</strong></a><strong> a €355 million (~$408 million) green financing agreement</strong> with Intesa Sanpaolo, through its Italian subsidiary N-Sun Energy Advisors Italy 2. The funding provided by Intesa Sanpaolo will be used for the development and construction of a 275 MWp portfolio of five photovoltaic and agrivoltaics projects across Italy.</p>
