The Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA) has bid for 50 MW of solar in the 500 MW tender floated by the state’s DISCOM, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO). The nodal agency, TEDA, quoted a tariff of Rs.4.44 (~$0.067)/kWh, but had been asked by TANGEDCO to match Rs.4.40 (~$0.065)/kWh which it did.
