The Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) has adopted tariffs of ₹315,000 (~$3,459)/MW/month and ₹316,000 (~$3,470)/MW/month for 375 MW/1,500 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.
