The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) has approved the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation’s (UPPCL) petition to procure 375 MW/1,500 MWh of standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity with viability gap funding (VGF) support.
