Canadian Solar Inc. announced that it has decided to list its business on Chinese Capital Markets. According to its press statement, the company said it would pursue a listing of its Module and System Solutions (MSS) business either on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR market) or the Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s ChiNext market. Based on the precedents in the China IPO market, the listing process is estimated to take 18-24 months.
