NTPC Green Energy has issued an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tender to develop battery energy storage systems (BESS) with a cumulative capacity of 130 MW/520 MWh at two thermal power project sites—Ramagundam in Telangana and Sipat in Chhattisgarh.
